From a Roadside Chaiwala to an International Brand Arshad Khan, popularly known around the world as “Chaiwala,” is one of Pakistan’s most remarkable modern-day success stories. His journey began with a simple cup of tea and an unexpected photograph that changed his life forever. Born into a Pashtun family from Mardan, Pakistan, Arshad started working at a young age to support his family. As a teenager, he worked at a roadside tea stall in Islamabad, where making and serving chai was simply part of his everyday life.
